On Sunday, terrorists launched a deadly attack on a 53-seater bus carrying pilgrims. The bus was en route from the Shiv Khori temple to the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in Katra when it came under fire near Teryath village in the Pouni area. The attack resulted in the bus plunging into a deep gorge. Tragically, 10 people lost their lives, and 41 others sustained injuries.
In response to the attack, the Reasi police have announced a substantial reward of ₹20 lakh for any information leading to the capture of the terrorists responsible.
