A rare “super bloom” has transformed parts of Death Valley National Park, covering the normally barren desert landscape with vibrant wildflowers. The phenomenon occurs after unusual rainfall and favorable temperatures, allowing dormant desert seeds to germinate simultaneously. Visitors and photographers are flocking to the park to witness the spectacular natural event, which may last only a few weeks.
