If the converging of several holidays such as Independence Day on August 15-Janmashtami on August 16, and a Friday, Aug 17, is any indication, then the coming week will be one of maximum pressure for travel. Imposing a premium on such flights, airlines like Air India have put their fares up a lot. Passengers may find that the cost of a one-way ticket has soared, three times its usual level in some cases, on many routes from Gwalior to Delhi , Mumbai and Bangalore.
