A political battle has erupted between Congress and BJP over allegations of a Waqf scam. BJP MP Anurag Thakur accused Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge of involvement in a Waqf scam in the Lok Sabha. Kharge vehemently denied the allegations in the Rajya Sabha, demanding proof and threatening to resign if even one acre of Waqf land was found in his or his children’s possession.
