Defence Minister Rajnath Singh issued a strong warning to Pakistan regarding its increased military infrastructure in the Sir Creek region. Singh stated that any misadventure by Pakistan would be met with a strong message, adding, "Pakistan should remember, way to Karachi goes via Sirk Creek." The statement was made during a visit to Bhuj on Vijaya Dashami. The Sir Creek area is described as a difficult terrain where India’s Border Security Force and Army are on guard. The region has been a long-standing issue, with allegations of Pakistan attempting to push narcotics and illegal weapons into India. The Defence Minister also highlighted the ‘jointness’ of the Indian armed forces and noted that "Operation Sindoor" is still active, though currently on pause, as a sign of India’s continuous high-level vigil on its frontiers.
