Rajnath Singh: Over 100 Terrorists Killed In 22 Mins On 1st Night Of Op Sindoor | India Today News

On May 7, 2025, the Indian Armed Forces launched ‘Operation Sindoor’, targeting nine terrorist sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The operation, which lasted 22 minutes, was a coordinated tri-service effort. The Indian Army targeted seven camps in locations including Muzaffarabad and Kotli, while the Indian Air Force struck Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed centres in Muridke and Bahawalpur. According to the briefing, the action was effective, with one speaker stating, "Our action was courageous, strong and effective." The operation also involved neutralizing Pakistan’s response with advanced defence systems and targeting Pakistani military infrastructure along the western front. The Indian Navy increased its presence in the North Arabian Sea, stating it was prepared to attack key Pakistani locations from the sea.
