Three people have been arrested after a devastating fire at a gaming zone in Gujarat’s Rajkot claimed over 20 lives. Nitin Jain, the manager of the TRP Game Zone, and Yuvraj Singh Solanki, the owner of the game zone, are among the three arrested. At least 24 persons, including nine children, were killed in a massive fire that swept through the game zone on Saturday evening.
The probe is being led by Senior IPS officer Subhash Trivedi, who heads a Special Investigation Team (SIT) comprising five officers. The blaze erupted at a temporary structure in the TRP game zone, as per a report by news agency PTI. Four fire brigade vehicles rushed to the scene to bring the blaze under control and initiate a rescue operation.
