The issue of a spurious cough syrup administered to young children has emerged in Rajasthan. Two children from Sikar are under medical supervision in the pediatrics ward at a Jaipur hospital after allegedly falling ill. According to a doctor from the hospital, their condition is stable and a case of dextromethorphan poisoning is suspected.
