The conflict between Rahul Gandhi and the Election Commission has intensified following allegations of ‘vote chori’ (vote theft). During his ‘voter adhikar yatra’ in Bihar, Rahul Gandhi accused the poll body of being the "BJP’s election chori branch" and claimed the voter revision process is designed to delete voters. In response, the Election Commission has demanded credible evidence within seven days or a public apology. The Congress party has accused the commission of "blatant partisanship." Sharing the stage, RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav attacked the central leadership, stating, "The Gujarat duo cannot decide who will vote in the state." Yadav vowed to protect the voting rights of Bihar’s people against what he described as attempts by the ECI and BJP to trample them.
