He identified India’s 1.4 billion people as its central strength, noting that they generate the world’s largest data pool. ‘The petrol for AI is data,’ Gandhi stated, warning that without data, artificial intelligence has no value. He urged the government to protect India’s data, food security, and energy systems in these turbulent times, while also cautioning that AI could challenge the Indian IT industry and the traditional role of software engineers.
