Chaos erupted in Parliament for the second consecutive day after Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi attempted to refer to an article based on excerpts from former Army Chief General MM Naravane’s unpublished memoir on the 2020 India-China Ladakh clash. Despite the Speaker citing Rule 349, which bars references to unauthenticated publications, Rahul Gandhi insisted the article had been authenticated and linked the issue to national security and the President’s address.
