Rahul Gandhi Leads Opposition March To ECI: Poll Body Seeks Proof On 'Dubious Voters' Claims

The Leader of the Opposition, Rahul Gandhi, led a march of over 300 Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MPs from 25 political parties from Parliament House to the Election Commission of India office. Delhi Police stated that permission for this march was not given. The march is a face-off between the Opposition and the Election Commission, with the BJP also involved. The Election Commission of India has stated that Rahul Gandhi should be furnishing proof and that the claims of the leader of the opposition are incorrect, asking him to submit the data of dubious voters. The Opposition is raising issues including allegations of "vote chori" and the special intensive roll revision drive carried out by the Election Commission in Bihar. Opposition MPs intend to collectively hand over a memorandum to the Election Commission on a host of issues. Parliament has been stalled for days due to these matters.
