Rahul Gandhi during a lecture in the Dallas university praised the concept of equality in the United States, using the example of truck drivers to illustrate his point. He said that I asked people who drive trucks and all what do you like about the US and they said that what we love about the US is the idea of equality. That truck driver in the US gets respect, that truck driver in the US gets respect and as a truck driver in India there is no way that I could get respect. Equality is a very powerful idea and it’s an idea that can help India in huge ways.
