Putin Bids 'Goodbye' To India:  Modi Announces 2030 Economic Cooperation Programme

Russian President Vladimir Putin has departed for Moscow after concluding a two-day state visit to New Delhi for the 23rd India–Russia Annual Summit. During the visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi received Putin with a hug at Palam airport, hosted a private dinner at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg, and held talks at Hyderabad House that produced a 2030 Economic Cooperation Programme to diversify trade and investment. Putin also received a ceremonial welcome at Rashtrapati Bhawan, paid homage at Rajghat, and underlined growing energy and financial ties, including the use of rubles in major joint projects.​
