Official records reveal that 8 crore rupees were sanctioned in 2024 for a new bridge at the same location, but construction never began. The bridge, in a dilapidated condition, was closed to traffic but remained accessible to pedestrians and two-wheelers. The state government has yet to issue an official statement on the delay in executing the sanctioned bridge project.
