A bridge collapse near Pune has resulted in two fatalities and 38 rescues. The incident occurred on an old, dilapidated bridge over the Indrayani River, which was officially closed two months ago. Despite this, 80 to 100 people had gathered on the structure to watch the swollen river following heavy rainfall. Rescue operations are ongoing, with three NDRF teams deployed. Authorities are using cranes to lift debris, suspecting more people might be trapped underneath.
