A war of words has erupted between the Election Commission and Rahul Gandhi over his allegations of voter fraud. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has defended her brother, stating the claims are not ‘rubbish’ and demanding an investigation. ‘How can they say it is wrong unless they investigate it? There can be no matter bigger than this. This is the democracy of our nation. It’s not a joke,’ she said. The India bloc plans to escalate the issue, with a march to the Election Commission scheduled for August 11th. This will be followed by a yatra in Bihar from August 17th, led by Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav, to raise public awareness on the matter, which is set to conclude in Patna on September 1st.
