Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi, while condemning the assault on a Mumbai shopkeeper by Maharashtra Navnirman Sena workers, also slammed the BJP for continuing to provoke people on the language row. She said the words used by BJP MP Nishikant Dubey against Maharashtra would surely hurt sentiments. She also held the Maharashtra government guilty of creating the language issue by issuing resolutions to introduce a three-language policy in schools, dubbed "Hindi imposition" by her party.
