Presidents Address On Independence Day Eve: Prez Murmu’s Tribute To Freedom Fighters | India Today
President Droupadi Murmu addressed the nation today on the eve of the 78th Independence Day. “Modi govt has taken numerous initiatives for welfare of SC, ST and marginalised sections. Social justice is the top priority of Modi govt,” said President Murmu. The President also conferred gallantry and service medals to personnel from the police and other security and combat forces today, including a President’s Medal for Gallantry (PMG) and 213 Medals for Gallantry (GM).
