President Draupadi Murmu has nominated four new members to the Rajya Sabha. The nominees include Ujwal Nikam, the prosecutor of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack case, and former diplomat Harshvardhan Sringla. Historian Meenakshi Jain, known for her work on Hindu resilience and temples in Ayodhya, Kashi, and Mathura, has also been nominated. The fourth nominee is a victim of left-wing violence in Kerala, who has worked in the education field.
