31 people, including women and children, are feared dead after a stampede broke out during Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) chief Vijay’s campaign rally in Tamil Nadu’s Karur on Saturday. The incident forced the actor-turned-politician to temporarily pause his speech as several attendees fainted amid severe overcrowding.
