PMK's Anbumani Ramadoss Alleges DMK's Investment Claims Are Fake, Says Only 9% Of MOUs Materialised

Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) President Anbumani Ramadoss accuses the DMK government of publicising fraudulent investment figures for Tamil Nadu. In a special report, Ramadoss presents a document claiming that while the government boasts of over ₹11 lakh crore in investment MOUs, the actual investment is less than 9%, attributing this to a climate of ‘corruption, collection, and commission’. He further alleges that major companies like Google and BYD are choosing to invest in neighbouring states like Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and criticises the state’s environmental policies concerning NLC India Limited in Cuddalore and Neyveli. Ramadoss states, ‘people are running away from Tamil Nadu. They don’t want to invest in Tamil Nadu because of only corruption, collection and commission’. The report also touches upon the Union government’s rejection of metro rail projects for Coimbatore and Madurai.
