PM Narendra Modi Tells Vladimir Putin India Is Not Neutral But On The Side Of Peace In Ukraine War

In a historic meeting at Hyderabad House in New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed a strong message to Russian President Vladimir Putin, stating, ‘India is not neutral, India is on the side of peace.’ During the 23rd India-Russia Annual Summit, PM Modi emphasized that the ongoing conflict in Ukraine should be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy. President Putin acknowledged India’s efforts, confirming that Moscow is ‘working on a peaceful settlement.’ The leaders also discussed the recent five-hour dialogue in Moscow involving US President Donald Trump’s envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. PM Modi highlighted the 25-year strategic partnership between the two nations, calling Putin a ‘true friend’ who has kept India informed.
