Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a major visit to Andhra Pradesh, where he, along with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, offered prayers at the historic Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Varla Devasthanam in Srisailam. The reporter at the scene noted, ‘many people here, the local residents here, they just welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi with all the development that he is bringing into the state of Andhra Pradesh’. Following the temple visit, the Prime Minister is set to inaugurate and lay the foundation for a suite of development projects in Kurnool valued at approximately ₹13,430 crore. These projects span crucial sectors including power, industry, roads, railways, and defence, and are expected to generate around one lakh jobs, significantly boosting the Rayalaseema region’s economy and infrastructure.
