Prime Minister Modi is on a three-day visit to Sri Lanka. Seven MOUs were signed between the two countries, focusing on defence, health and infrastructure. Sri Lanka conferred its highest civilian award, the Mithra Vibhushana Medal, on PM Modi. The Prime Minister dedicated the honour to 140 crore Indians and spoke about strong ties between the two nations.
