In a fiery speech at an election rally in Samastipur, Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a blistering attack on the RJD-Congress alliance, accusing them of trying to pull the state back into an era of lawlessness. ‘Already, people from RJD and Congress have started threatening with… getting you picked up from your homes,’ the Prime Minister alleged. He warned voters against what he termed the opposition’s ‘jungle raj’, stating that the NDA government had broken the back of Naxalism and Maoist terror in Bihar. Contrasting his development agenda with the opposition’s alleged dynastic politics, Modi highlighted the NDA’s work on women’s empowerment through schemes like ‘Lakhpati Didi’ and cultural projects such as the development of Punora Dham, the birthplace of Mata Janaki.
