Ukraine-US Talks | In today’s episode of India Global, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a two-day state visit to Mauritius, met the island nation’s President Dharam Gokhool, in Port Louis. He also paid homage to Mauritius’ founding father. PM Modi is visiting the island nation at the invitation of his Mauritius counterpart Navinchandra Ramgoolam to attend the island nation’s 57th national day celebrations as the guest of honour. PM Modi gifted Gangajal from Maha Kumbh to Mauritius President. He also expected address members of the Indian diaspora which make up 70 per cent of the Mauritius population later today. Meanwhile, Ten days since the fiery Oval office clash that upended U.S-Ukraine ties, meeting between top officials from both sides is now underway in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio is the leading the US delegation to Saudi Arabia for talks with Ukrainian officials on ways to end the three-year war between Russia and Ukraine.
