The Prime Minister advised organising 20 to 30 conferences between Navratri and Diwali to connect GST reforms with a ‘Swadeshi’ push. This initiative is designed to promote ‘Make in India’ and the principle of being ‘vocal for local’ during the festive season. The Prime Minister’s message to the NDA members was to champion homegrown products with the slogan, "Say it with pride that it’s Swadeshi."
