Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to visit Jammu on June 6th to inaugurate the Chenab Railway Bridge, the world’s highest rail bridge. During his visit, he is expected to address a large BJP rally in Katra and flag off the Vande Bharat Express from Jammu to Kashmir. The train will cover its full journey distance via the Chenab Railway Bridge. A previous inauguration planned for April was postponed due to weather conditions.
