Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Ayodhya on November 25 for the grand Dwajarohan, or flag hoisting ceremony, at the Ram Mandir, an event symbolising the completion of the temple’s construction. The visit includes a planned roadshow from Saket College to the Ram Janmabhoomi, with extensive preparations overseen by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. According to the bulletin, ‘the flag hoisting ceremony will be a symbol or the final function that will resemble that the construction of Ram Mandir is completed’. The ceremony, set for the auspicious day of Vivah Panchami, will be attended by thousands of guests, including prominent figures and representatives from the Dalit, transgender, and Aghori communities to convey a message of social equality.
