Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Ayodhya for the ‘Dwaj Arohan’ or flag hoisting ceremony at the Ram temple, an event marking the completion of the temple’s construction. The ceremony on Vivah Panchami will also be attended by RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, with a focus on social equality through the inclusion of representatives from Dalit, transgender, and other communities. A reporter at the event stated, ‘Religion unites it does not divide that’s the message Sneha that this ceremony ultimately intends to send out’. The Prime Minister’s visit includes a roadshow and the hoisting of a saffron flag on the temple’s 161-foot-high shikhar, symbolizing divine protection and the legacy of Lord Rama.
