While speaking online at the Sansad Khel Mahotsav, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that every athlete in the country is not playing only for personal success, but for the nation and the honour of the Indian tricolour. He also requested parents to encourage their children to play sports and give them proper opportunities. He said that sports are not only part of education but are also very important for a healthy body and a healthy mind.
