(A next-generation reform is coming in GST. This Diwali, the people of the country will get a double bonus from the GST reform). Further topics included a strong push for ‘Vocal for Local’ and ‘Made in India’ to boost self-reliance, citing successes in mobile phone and toy manufacturing. The address also covered broader development themes, including the modernisation of railways and airports.
