PM Modi met and greeted Olympic medallists Manu Bhaker, the hockey team, Sarabjot Singh and wrestler Aman Sehrawat during the ceremony, which was attended by numerous athletes who were part of India’s contingent in Paris.
PM Modi took to social media and boosted the athletes’ morale with a heartwarming post, lauding the effort of every member of the contingent to represent the tri-colour at the biggest sporting spectacle.
