Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Jammu and Kashmir to inaugurate the world’s highest railway bridge over the Chenab River and flag off the inaugural Vande Bharat train from Katra to Kashmir. The Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla railway link, a decades-long dream, is now connecting Kashmir with the rest of the country. The Prime Minister is also inaugurating the Anji Bridge, India’s first cable-stayed railway bridge, and will address a rally in Katra to dedicate projects worth over 46,000 crore.
