Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Kartavya Bhavan at Kartavya Path. This building is the first of the Common Central Secretariat buildings. It is designed to streamline administrative processes, improve inter-ministerial coordination, accelerate policy execution, and foster a responsive administrative ecosystem. The new facility replaces outdated structures like Shastri Bhavan, Krishi Bhavan, Udyog Bhavan, and Nirman Bhavan, which were constructed between the 1950s and 1970s. The project aims to reduce repair and maintenance costs, boost productivity, improve employee well-being, and enhance overall service delivery. The building incorporates modern infrastructure, sustainable practices, and advanced technology. It is designed to use 30% less energy, features solar panels, solar water heaters, and a zero-discharge waste management system. The complex spans 1.5 lakh square meters and houses ministries including Home Affairs, External Affairs, Rural Development, MSME, DOPT, Petroleum and Natural Gas, and Principal Scientific Advisor. #kartavyabhavan #kartavyapath #narendramodi #itwebvideos #centralsecretariat #newgovernance #administrativereform #ecofriendlybuilding #sustainableinfrastructure #digitalindia #indiatoday #modernindia #government #delhi #infrastructure #smartbuilding
