Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Delhi section of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS, connecting Delhi with Meerut. The 13 km stretch from Sahibabad to New Ashok Nagar opens to the public today. Modi also launched metro projects in Delhi, including the Janakpuri-Krishna Park section. Projects worth ₹12,200 crore were unveiled, focusing on enhancing regional connectivity. The RRTS trains, named Namo Bharat, will reduce Delhi-Meerut travel time to 40 minutes.
