Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Tamil Nadu (July 27–28) to commemorate the 1050th birth anniversary of Emperor Rajendra Chola I, one of India’s greatest rulers.
LIVE from Gangaikonda Cholapuram, PM Modi is releasing a special ₹1000 commemorative coin and a ₹50 stamp to honour the legacy of the Chola Empire, which reached Southeast Asia under Rajendra Chola’s reign.
