Prime Minister Modi has arrived in London for a two-day visit to the United Kingdom, part of a four-day, two-nation tour. The central focus of the visit is the signing of the India-UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA), which is expected to boost the GDP of both nations. During the visit on July 24th, the Prime Minister is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with UK Prime Minister Kirstauma and will also meet King Charles III. Key issues on the agenda include cooperation on education and defence. A significant point of discussion will be "the issue of Khalistan and the unrest that it causes not only in India but also mainly in United Kingdom as well." The matter of extraditing fugitives Vijay Mallya and Nehru Modi is also set to be raised. The Indian diaspora gathered to welcome the Prime Minister with cheers and slogans.
