PM Modi In Gaya: Sounds Poll Bugle With Mega Infra Push Worth ₹13,000 Crore | India Today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on a visit to Gaya in poll-bound Bihar, held a public rally at the Magadh University campus. The visit marks the launch of multiple development projects worth approximately 13,000 crores. Key inaugurations include Asia’s second-widest six-lane Omta-Semaria bridge on the Ganga, the Buxar thermal power plant, and the Homi Baba Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in Muzaffarpur. The Prime Minister also flagged off two new trains: the Amrit Bharat Express between Gaya and Delhi, and the Buddhist Circuit train. Additionally, a ‘Graha Pravesh’ ceremony for thousands of beneficiaries under the PMAY rural and urban housing schemes took place. This is the Prime Minister’s sixth visit to the state this year, an event described as sounding the party’s poll bugle.
