The event was attended by dignitaries including Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and RSS Chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat. In his speech, PM Modi stated that the flag is a symbol of India’s cultural resurgence. ‘…ye dharm bhaja keval Ek bhaja nahi ye Bharatiya sabhyata ke punar Jagran ka bhaja hai ,’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi said. He elaborated on the symbolism of the saffron flag, stating it represents the glory of the Surya vansh and the principles of truth. The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the devotees, donors, and labourers involved in the temple’s construction, saying the flag will carry the message of Lord Ram’s ideals for centuries to come.
