Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the Bengaluru Metro Yellow Line, marking a significant development for the city’s infrastructure. This Yellow Line, part of the metro project’s phase two, spans 19 kilometers and includes 16 stations. It is expected to serve over 8 lakh commuters daily, operating from 5 am to 11 pm with three driverless trains. The new line aims to alleviate daily traffic chaos, particularly benefiting IT professionals by connecting key IT corridors and residential areas. During the visit, Prime Minister Modi also flagged off three Vande Bharat Express trains and laid the foundation stone for the third phase of the Bengaluru metro project. A commuter stated, "It was a dream, and it has come true." A political discussion has emerged regarding the project’s funding, with the Karnataka Congress claiming a larger contribution from the state government compared to the union government. #pmmodi #bengalurumetro #yellowline #vandebharat #bengaluru #metroproject #trafficrelief #itcorridor #infrastructure #india
