PM Justin Trudeau Condemns Attack On Hindus Devotees In Brampton
On Sunday, Hindu devotees were attacked in Canada’s Brampton by a group of people allegedly Khalistani supporters. A video of the same went viral on social media, where a group of men can be seen thrashing people with a stick outside the Hindu Sabha Mandir. Following this incident, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau strongly condemned the attack on the Hindu Sabha Temple, emphasised on the importance of religious freedom and asserted that every citizen has a right to practice their faith "freely and safely." "The acts of violence at the Hindu Sabha Mandir in Brampton today are unacceptable. Every Canadian has the right to practice their faith freely and safely," Trudeau said in a post on X.
