A catastrophic plane crash of AI171 London-bound flight has occurred, with the aircraft crashing into a medical student hostel. Over 1000 rescue personnel from CISF, Rapid Action Force, RPF, and Coast Guard are on the ground. The crash site spans about 600 metres, with fires still being put out. Multiple fatalities have been reported, with bodies being recovered from the business and first-class sections. The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau is on site, and the black box is expected to be recovered from the tail end assembly.
