The meeting aims to find a way for the smooth functioning of the house. The opposition has been protesting over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) and demanding a discussion on ‘Operation Sindhu’. While the government has noted that election matters fall under the Election Commission’s purview, a 16-hour discussion on ‘Operation Sindhu’ is scheduled to begin on Monday. The speaker has conveyed a clear message that constructive debate requires order, stating that if the disruptions continue, "it will become very very difficult to hold the kind of discussion that the opposition has been asking for since day one."
