Pakistan has violated the ceasefire agreement with India just hours after it was announced. Artillery shelling and drone activity have been reported in multiple sectors along the Line of Control and International Border, including Akhnoor, Rajouri, RS Pura, and targeting the Army’s Chinar Corps headquarters in Srinagar. Several blasts were reported in Srinagar, with air defenses engaging projectiles. Drones were also spotted in Kutch, Gujarat. The Indian Border Security Force is retaliating. This comes after India and Pakistan had agreed to halt military operations starting 5 PM. Questions are being raised about Pakistan’s commitment to the ceasefire, its ability to control terror groups, and the role of its military leadership.
