The Foreign Secretary announced that Pakistan has repeatedly violated the ceasefire understanding reached earlier between the DGMOs of India and Pakistan. The Indian armed forces have been instructed to respond adequately to these violations. India has called on Pakistan to address the situation with seriousness and responsibility. The armed forces are maintaining strong vigilance and have been given instructions to deal firmly with any further violations along the international border and Line of Control.
