China has called for a comprehensive lasting ceasefire between India and Pakistan, urging both countries to handle differences through dialogue. During a meeting with Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishak Dar, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi referred to Pakistan as China’s ‘ironclad friend’ and extended support for safeguarding Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
