Prime Minister Modi revealed that Pakistan sought a ceasefire just hours after India’s retaliatory strike under Operation Sindoor. Speaking at a rally in Gujarat’s Bhuj, Modi stated that India’s decisive military action rattled Pakistan. External Affairs Minister S.Jaishankar reportedly briefed that Pakistan was informed 30 minutes after Phase 1 of Operation Sindhu ended. The opposition demands clarity on US involvement in the ceasefire and alleged lapses in the operation.
