Pakistan Army and China’s People’s Liberation Army are holding a two-week joint counterterrorism exercise, Warrior-IX, from November 28 to December 14, 2025, aimed at enhancing interoperability and strengthening military-to-military cooperation. A Distinguished Visitors Day at the National Counter Terrorism Centre in Pabbi was attended by Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong as chief guest and the Pakistan Army’s chief of general staff as guest of honour, with dignitaries observing mixed-group drills and praising the professionalism and high morale of participating troops from both sides.
